A Pause For A Poem
this lion of life
look at this lion of life
in need of constant feeding
her strange desires to roar at the day
forlorn and endearing yet violent and pouncing
an innocent head is beautifully hovered
between her trembling, unstable jaw
the drips of savage teeth on the skin
panting breath, burning tongue
her game of irresistible danger

Good title and I particularly liked 'constant feeding','roar at the day', 'burning tongue' and 'irresistible danger', not so keen on dripping teeth line.
Feels like there is more to come?
Nice to have you on board.. I wrote this poem years ago and thought it would fit nicely with the lion pictures. It's basically how my life seems to be ...
