I had some short stories, poems and photographs to share ... and so here I am

More Of St Paddy's Dublin Festivities

As promised, here's a closer look at the wonderful St Patrick's day parade I saw in Dublin last weekend. This is a mix of video clips and photos, taken from the window of my hotel room in Parnell Square.

Great colour, and the sheer scale of those balloons!! Good time to be in Dublin.

Again - how lucky for you that you were in Dublin on this day! I saw so many things in this video that made me ask questions and just marvel at the colors!

Wow, and wow again. I had no idea it was so, well, festival-like.

Wow is right Seamus, so colorful. It made me think of the Carnival time parade in Toronto each summer. A great treat, thanks for sharing my friend. :)

I'm going to have to come back and watch this - my ISP is buggering about something horrible and downloads are a nightmare! Looking forward to watching it though!

What a treat. And all right under your window! The colour combinations are just amazing.

Julie - Ohhhh, we're spoilt. I'm still internet-caféing due to no cable connection at home, but will get on and look at these soon! :-)

Minx - I loved the multi-cultural aspect to the parade as well ... the new Ireland and all its people!

Eric - Thank you. Of course it was better being there to see the real thing. It was nice to be able to mix the pics and video clips, though. :-)

Absolute - Yes, I feel so lost at the moment without my internet at home. I'm responding here in a café but can't do any of my usual blogging and browsing.

Lane - Thanks! I could've have ended up with a better room if I'd tried. It was the perfect location, with the sun behind me. I did feel like a royal, though, with all the hundreds of people looking up at me between floats. :-) I was tempted to do a little wave!
